It is a matter of great
pleasure and pride for me to know that the law students of Aligarh Muslim
University Centre, Malappuram are going to publish a quarterly magazine, namely
Law Reporter. I appreciate all the teachers and students for their valuable
contribution and efforts to bring out the first issue of the magazine.
I hope that contents of the magazine will prove the abilities
and the talents of the academic community in the centre. They should promote
critical thoughts and reflexive imaginations about the state of law and the
contemporary social realities.
I am also pleased to note that the department of Law has
already proved its competency and academic qualities in a short span of time
since its inception. The magazine will, no doubt, make the department more
dynamic and more exposed to the world outside.
With
this and the coming issues, I am sure, the Centre and the department of Law in
particular will be able to establish a live connection with different
institutions and people in the same and related disciplines.
